HB&O Financial Services raise funds for local charity ‘Guys Gift’

Over the Early May Bank Holiday, the HB&O Financial Services team took part in the Milton Keynes Marathon race weekend which included a full marathon, half marathon and
superhero fun run!

The team took part to raise money for local charity ‘Guys Gift’ which is a registered charity providing support for bereaved children, young people and their families in Warwickshire following the death of a parent, sibling or other significant person in their life.

Managing Director, Jason Strain, along with Anthony Baynham and David Stokes ran the full marathon, Ian Chetwynd, Jo Barrett, Alexandra Styles and Lucy Talbot ran the half marathon
and Thomas Dawe, Tom Driver, Kerry Ruane, Robert Dimbleby, Katherine Neal, Bethany Anderson and Julie Talbot took part in the superhero fun run with their families.

Jason Strain, Managing Director at HB&O Financial Services said:

“The staff at HB&O are always willing to demonstrate support for such a worthy cause as Guys Gift. We all thoroughly enjoyed the race weekend and are hoping to continue to raise further funds over the following weeks for the charity!”

Lisbeth Bakewell, Service Manager at Guys Gift said:

“Here at Guy’s Gift we are grateful for the fundraising support from HB&O Financial Services. As a small, local charity, support from within our community is fantastic and goes a long way towards providing bereavement support for children, young people and their families. This
fantastic fundraising support helps us to provide specialist support to those who need it, when it is most needed.”

We’re over the moon that the team has reached their goal £2,000 but any donations are still welcome! If you would like to donate to support the team, please visit: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/HBOFinancialServices
