Langdowns DFK continues its ambitious growth plans
Langdowns DFK continues its ambitious growth plans by employing six new members of staff across the firm in just a few weeks, as the management team prepares the business for its next phase of development.
Attracting the right type of staff to fit the firm’s values is central to the business achieving its goals and servicing clients. In an ever-challenging technological environment, these appointments help the firm maintain its reputation for being a dynamic and forward-thinking place to work.
Sarah Dashwood has joined the Accounts & Assurance team, and will be quickly followed by a new trainee next week, as compliance continues to be a key strength of the firm.
Complementing the expansion of the Accounts team is Beth Raynsford, in the Tax Department, an area that grows with the ever-increasing complexity to the tax regime. The Tax Department is seeing particularly high demand around the capital taxes (CGT) and property tax (as the rules change), as well as supporting the firm's Probate & Estate Planning offering.
Andrea Moggach and Victoria Tolson will be working in the Outsourcing and Internal Accounts function. Since the introduction of HMRC’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) legislation, Langdowns DFK has seen a significant demand from clients, as they seek to keep on top of the new legislation. The business is investing further in this department, as the continued expansion of MTD in the coming years will see greater need for all businesses to operate in a digital manner.
Supporting the firm's growth is the ever-hardworking Admin department, with Jessica Mayne joining the Southampton team. Jessica’s role will see her working alongside Rachel Willoughby, who heads up the Admin department.
Commenting on all of this activity, Neil Raynsford, CEO of Langdowns DFK, had the following to say:
We live in exciting times and getting recruitment right is fundamental to the business. The firm continues to go from strength to strength and the addition of this dynamic group will be instrumental in our future development
