Two new partners appointed at City professional services firm Wilson Wright

City of London-based professional and business advisory firm, Wilson Wright, has announced the appointment of two new Partners.

Emma Brown and Tom Tesfay both become Partners of the firm from Monday 1 April 2019.

Emma Brown is a Chartered Tax Advisor and has been promoted from her role as Tax Director at the firm, where she has assisted the firm’s high-profile clients with a range of tax planning and advisory matters.

She was shortlisted for the Rising Star category at the prestigious Tolley’s Taxation Awards, which take place in May 2019, based on the impressive development of her career and the high-quality advice that she provides.

Tom Tesfay is a Chartered Accountant and has been promoted from his role as an Associate at the firm. Tom joined the firm as a trainee and under the guidance of the existing Partner team, he has risen through the ranks to his new position.

He works with a wide variety of clients ranging from media to property and leasing companies, assisting them with their audit, accountancy and corporation tax requirements through to solicitors and medical research entities, where he has worked on more specialised assignments.

Emma Brown said: “I am proud to have been promoted to Partner at Wilson Wright. Since I joined the firm in May 2014, the Tax department has grown rapidly, with a particular focus on providing advice.

“I am looking forward to further developing our high-level tax and business advisory services in my new role as a Partner of the firm.”

Tom Tesfay added: “I am delighted to have been promoted to Partner. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the further development of our services.”

Adam Cramer, a Partner at Wilson Wright, added: “Emma and Tom have both shown themselves to be highly capable professionals during their time at Wilson Wright and it is wonderful to be able to welcome them to the partnership.

“Our clients tell us that they really value the advice and input they receive from both Emma and Tom and as partners, I know that they will be able to take their work and client relationships to an even higher level.”
